Hi! Moved here from Central Florida(CF) a few months ago. I have been looking for a salon and actually drove back to CF for a appt with my old stylist. Then I found Bloom- The salon is very pretty, great atmosphere. Everyone was professional and personable. The service was great but it felt more than that - Erica was wonderful. She took the time to listen and help figure out what direction I should take given that my hair is fine, wavy/beachy/curly. Am very happy with the sun kissed color, cut and truly enjoyed our conversation. 🥰

Truly the best salon experience I have ever had I felt like my stylist Emily cared about what I wanted with my hair and then she gave 10/10 for experience as well Will 100% be coming back!

I wanted to find a wonderful new hair salon that provides upscale, high-quality service, tiered stylists, and consultations/recommendations for hair styling, hair care, services and products. A comprehensive search through the Internet showed several options that fit my criteria; however, one stood out as superior: Bloom! Why? First, your website; it’s top-notch. The site’s appearance is quite professional and showed that tiered stylists are available. There are a range of options for services available, including free consultation. In addition, I can schedule my appointment, with the stylist of my choice, via the website. Not only this, but I could also view professional bios for each stylist, and link to their professional Instagram pages! I found all of this information to be extremely helpful in making Bloom my choice for an appointment. When I booked my appointment, I was able to tell the salon staff about myself should I wish to do so, and i did. I have mobility issues and use a walker, and I wanted them to be aware of this. I appreciate the opportunity to let you know beforehand, about this situation. When I arrived for my appointment, I was happily impressed with the beautiful, clean appearance of the salon, and the professionalism of the reception staff. I was offered a drink, which in our climate is an appreciated perk (also a simple gesture that shows care for people, and it’s often overlooked in service places). As I waited, I noticed the staff were focused on their clients and their work. Nobody was chatting with other staff about their weekend plans or whatever. Staff members were working with or on behalf of clients. My stylist, Karin, came to me in the waiting area to introduce herself and escort me to her work area. Her demeanor was so kind and professional that I knew I was in excellent hands! Karin asked me about my objectives for my haircut experience and we discussed options. I appreciated her collaborative approach, and her suggestions! I have to mention my shampooing experience because it was amazing! Karin massaged my scalp—what a treat, feels wonderful!—and she applied a special scalp treatment as a courtesy for my first appointment. (The treatment actually made a difference, and my scalp felt great afterwards!) This included a hot towel, and that was another level of awesome. Karin did an absolutely fantastic job with my haircut! I have very short, super thick, hair that has about a thousand cowlicks, and I love it texturized, and well textured! Karin exceeded my expectations, as I usually have to endure a few problems before a stylist can satisfy my expectations given the cowlicks and the ton of hair that I have. She encouraged me to feel my hair and to let her know if I was satisfied with her work. And I was! We talked about color services for my next appointment, because given the exceptional service and the kindness and care that I received, of course I wanted to return for another appointment! As I checked out, Karin brought the products she’d used on my hair to the checkout area, which I appreciated. (I love products and can’t wait to accumulate a stash of these!) I had feedback that i passed on to the person who checked me out and scheduled my next appointment. She was very amenable to my comments, and seemed genuinely grateful that I expressed my impressions of Bloom. To sum up, I had a wonderful experience at Bloom, from the moment I stepped in until the moment I stepped out! Every person with whom I came in contact there was knowledgeable, professional, extremely kind, caring and authentic about this, and each one saw me as an important person, regardless of my disability, ethnicity, appearance or any other aspect of my person! And even if i had adored my cut, had those qualities been absent, I would not have come back for another appointment. Bloom exceeded my expectations for a new clint experience. I’m so happy to have found a new “home” salon. Thank you, Bloom staff, for all you do!

They did a great job! We had a move in clean (with minimal belongings). It’s a rental that the previous renters left in rough shape. They had no problem making it feel clean again. I am so relieved! There’s a few things that made me feel like I should have opted for a deeper clean, but I am still very happy with the clean I received and the price point.

New to the area and this salon looked nice…thought I would give it a try. It is scary when looking for a new hair stylist and I shared my sentiment. Bloom personnel were very understanding and kind. My stylist sat down and actually had a conversation with me, asked me what I was looking for and really cared about my thoughts. She was very honest and caring. I will be coming back!

This is a great salon. Without getting into unnecessary details, I have been searching for someone to cut my hair for the last nine months. In the course of doing so, I have gotten some really horrible haircuts. Obviously, I had some concerns when I went here, because I was expecting just one more in a long line of bad haircuts and bad hair days. I was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy because the haircut I got was great and I just got another one today which was also great.

As always…my hair looks beautiful. However, I just wanted to say that Caleigh added absolutely gorgeous layers to my hair today. Stunning! Thanks so much!

I really enjoyed my appointment and Emily did a wonderful job. She was very nice and personable, explained what she was doing, listened to me and asked me questions about any changes I wanted to make to my hair throughout my appointment. I typically leave an appointment with my hair longer than I’d like it to be so I’m grateful Emily gave me the space to make changes and cut it shorter if I wanted to, even after my hair was dry. I get a super blunt bob which I’ve found can be a difficult cut for some people but Emily did a great job, she styled it exactly how I style it to ensure it looked good and she was very meticulous. Often, I go home and restyle or even recut my hair but I didn’t have to do that this time. Overall, probably the best experience and haircut I’ve had at a salon!

Hayley was amazing!!! I went in wanted a full balayage to add more blonde, but because of previous color issues from a different salon, we had to change the plan. The result was less brightness, but way better blending. Very happy!

The stylist was amazing, talented, and so sweet and my son’s hair came out great! The only reason I won’t bring him back is because with a $35 charge for a boys haircut plus $7 tip (20%), I find the grand total of $42 extremely overpriced for a haircut for an 11-year old boy!! We usually go to Yulee Barber and their current pricing for a boys haircut is $22.

As soon as you enter, you are greeted with a warm smile and the most heavenly scent. I love that Brittany supports small businesses and also give us back to the community. Earlier this year Bloom Salon hosted an event where they provided back-to-school haircuts for families in need. They also donated products and a gift card to be auctioned off in a raffle where the proceeds were donated to Dreams Come True of Jacksonville. I have been 3 times to the salon recently and I had no idea it has been opened for a year already! I really like the salon, it is pretty inside, personnel is very soft, sweet and friendly. I definitely loveee how they wash your hair and they do amazing with their products so my hair does not get tangle neither hurts when brushing. I really like it. Glad to know they are close by. I am latina and i would like more style and deeper drying when blow drying my hair, but I understand is not the type of hair that they would do in regular basis. Thank you so much for the sweetness and kindness and taking good care of me during the recovery of my surgery.

Hi, I\'m recovering from brain surgery. The doctor had to shave off my very long hair. I was feeling so down and depressed. The staff at Bloom was so very kind and sweet to me! On my first visit, I barely had any hair. They trimmed and cut it into a very nice shape. I also asked for them to shave a heart onto the side. Today I returned with more hair. It was shaped even nicer! Now I’m feeling more like my normal self. I have survived a lot! I wasn’t suppose to live. But God bestowed Grace on me! Thank you all so much!💜

This was my very first time coming to Bloom salon, and Caleigh was my hairdresser. The staff is very welcoming when I walked in and Caleigh did exactly what I wanted done to my hair. She was very personable and knowledgeable of what she was doing. Explained what she was going to do and recommended some of the products she used on my hair. The products are awesome. Made my hair feels so smooth and shiny. I had to get some. Definitely going back to see her again.

Karin was my stylist with the addition of Brittany, the salon owner, to help cut my bangs. I was really not happy with a prior cut/color I had done and they definitely helped save my hair. The salon was super relaxing and their customer service was amazing. If you are in the wild light or yulee/Fernandina beach area I would highly recommend Bloom salon.

Like a many of us who moved here from other states, we all in search of new hair salon. The Bloom Salon was closest hair salon from my home, so after reading reviews and looking some other’s places near me, I decided to give it to try. I am very pleased with my visit. My hairstylist was very nice and caring ,listening and helping me to understand and decide what kind of service to choose for my hair.
