Ya know, I have been feeling the “end of summer” blues, and my sweet baby dog was diagnosed with diabetes, so it’s been rough since my last appointment. I wasn’t even feeling it until I walked into the salon and was greeted with, “It’s so great to see you!” A couple of ladies said similar words, and I didn’t know how much I needed some validation until I received it from them! Then Karin sat down with me and we chatted for a bit, and gradually, I felt like my normal happy self again! And naturally, I looked and felt amazing when I left Bloom~rejuvenated, really. My appointment for a haircut with Karin was wonderful yesterday. It started off with a relaxing shampoo from Emma who told me more about the great Heart of Glass products and how my hair would benefit from them, and even let me know it was Christmas in July right now and could save some money on product that day! Then my haircut with Karin was top notch. She always asks a great deal of questions to make sure I\'m happy with my color and the previous cut. She even talked Emma, who is almost finished with cosmetology school, through the way she was cutting my hair so she could learn. Karin is all about educating, for herself and others. She is amazing, as is your whole salon family.

My experience was phenomenal with Haley. She listened well, was attentive, and gentle. I came in with a rat nest. I showed her some photos of what I was looking for and she did amazing! The shampoo, hair treatment, the massage, warm towel treatment all had me pampered and refreshed. They do have snacks and drinks so no need to stop at Publix beforehand either.

Jeanne Noel has been my stylist for several years. She is creative, talented , very experienced and knowledgeable so that I feel like can turn my hair over to her. I have my hair highlighted, lowlights, cut and conditioning treatments. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants beautiful hair.

I , first timer, came in for a pre- work trip work up. When the first look was fabulous but not exactly what I had envisioned and moderately against work regulation, this amazing group of fixers squeezed me in on a busy Saturday to give it another go. Three absolute savants, Karin, Caleigh, and Makayla crafted my hairs with low lights to warm up, smoothe out, and tone down the blonde-highlight contrast for a more natural, work - appropriate blend. I think that\'s the hair science behind it. I\'m so elated that I reached out and that they were so so so accommodating. My locks now resemble a yummy hazelnut peanut butter cup. Thanks, ladies!

Everyone was wonderful at bloom. The process from checking in, getting hair done etc. went smoothly. Erica took her time to discuss my usual hair routine and matched color well. Being new to the island , my stylist Emily actually grew up here and not only did she give me a relaxing pre-cut hair wash and head massage, she was able to get my hair to a great length…I was starting to get some grey and was tired of coloring it. Emily gave me some great tips. We left some length so I could still pull it back but it was long enough to pull back, flat iron or put in some beach waves. She recommended some products to use in the shower to give some great shine to my hair. They have lots of options at Bloom Salon. Give them a try. I’ll be returning for sure❣️

Hi! Moved here from Central Florida(CF) a few months ago. I have been looking for a salon and actually drove back to CF for a appt with my old stylist. Then I found Bloom- The salon is very pretty, great atmosphere. Everyone was professional and personable. The service was great but it felt more than that - Erica was wonderful. She took the time to listen and help figure out what direction I should take given that my hair is fine, wavy/beachy/curly. Am very happy with the sun kissed color, cut and truly enjoyed our conversation. 🥰

I wanted to find a wonderful new hair salon that provides upscale, high-quality service, tiered stylists, and consultations/recommendations for hair styling, hair care, services and products. A comprehensive search through the Internet showed several options that fit my criteria; however, one stood out as superior: Bloom! Why? First, your website; it’s top-notch. The site’s appearance is quite professional and showed that tiered stylists are available. There are a range of options for services available, including free consultation. In addition, I can schedule my appointment, with the stylist of my choice, via the website. Not only this, but I could also view professional bios for each stylist, and link to their professional Instagram pages! I found all of this information to be extremely helpful in making Bloom my choice for an appointment. When I booked my appointment, I was able to tell the salon staff about myself should I wish to do so, and i did. I have mobility issues and use a walker, and I wanted them to be aware of this. I appreciate the opportunity to let you know beforehand, about this situation. When I arrived for my appointment, I was happily impressed with the beautiful, clean appearance of the salon, and the professionalism of the reception staff. I was offered a drink, which in our climate is an appreciated perk (also a simple gesture that shows care for people, and it’s often overlooked in service places). As I waited, I noticed the staff were focused on their clients and their work. Nobody was chatting with other staff about their weekend plans or whatever. Staff members were working with or on behalf of clients. My stylist, Karin, came to me in the waiting area to introduce herself and escort me to her work area. Her demeanor was so kind and professional that I knew I was in excellent hands! Karin asked me about my objectives for my haircut experience and we discussed options. I appreciated her collaborative approach, and her suggestions! I have to mention my shampooing experience because it was amazing! Karin massaged my scalp—what a treat, feels wonderful!—and she applied a special scalp treatment as a courtesy for my first appointment. (The treatment actually made a difference, and my scalp felt great afterwards!) This included a hot towel, and that was another level of awesome. Karin did an absolutely fantastic job with my haircut! I have very short, super thick, hair that has about a thousand cowlicks, and I love it texturized, and well textured! Karin exceeded my expectations, as I usually have to endure a few problems before a stylist can satisfy my expectations given the cowlicks and the ton of hair that I have. She encouraged me to feel my hair and to let her know if I was satisfied with her work. And I was! We talked about color services for my next appointment, because given the exceptional service and the kindness and care that I received, of course I wanted to return for another appointment! As I checked out, Karin brought the products she’d used on my hair to the checkout area, which I appreciated. (I love products and can’t wait to accumulate a stash of these!) I had feedback that i passed on to the person who checked me out and scheduled my next appointment. She was very amenable to my comments, and seemed genuinely grateful that I expressed my impressions of Bloom. To sum up, I had a wonderful experience at Bloom, from the moment I stepped in until the moment I stepped out! Every person with whom I came in contact there was knowledgeable, professional, extremely kind, caring and authentic about this, and each one saw me as an important person, regardless of my disability, ethnicity, appearance or any other aspect of my person! And even if i had adored my cut, had those qualities been absent, I would not have come back for another appointment. Bloom exceeded my expectations for a new clint experience. I’m so happy to have found a new “home” salon. Thank you, Bloom staff, for all you do!

They did a great job! We had a move in clean (with minimal belongings). It’s a rental that the previous renters left in rough shape. They had no problem making it feel clean again. I am so relieved! There’s a few things that made me feel like I should have opted for a deeper clean, but I am still very happy with the clean I received and the price point.

New to the area and this salon looked nice…thought I would give it a try. It is scary when looking for a new hair stylist and I shared my sentiment. Bloom personnel were very understanding and kind. My stylist sat down and actually had a conversation with me, asked me what I was looking for and really cared about my thoughts. She was very honest and caring. I will be coming back!

This is a great salon. Without getting into unnecessary details, I have been searching for someone to cut my hair for the last nine months. In the course of doing so, I have gotten some really horrible haircuts. Obviously, I had some concerns when I went here, because I was expecting just one more in a long line of bad haircuts and bad hair days. I was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy because the haircut I got was great and I just got another one today which was also great.

I really enjoyed my appointment and Emily did a wonderful job. She was very nice and personable, explained what she was doing, listened to me and asked me questions about any changes I wanted to make to my hair throughout my appointment. I typically leave an appointment with my hair longer than I’d like it to be so I’m grateful Emily gave me the space to make changes and cut it shorter if I wanted to, even after my hair was dry. I get a super blunt bob which I’ve found can be a difficult cut for some people but Emily did a great job, she styled it exactly how I style it to ensure it looked good and she was very meticulous. Often, I go home and restyle or even recut my hair but I didn’t have to do that this time. Overall, probably the best experience and haircut I’ve had at a salon!

Hayley was amazing!!! I went in wanted a full balayage to add more blonde, but because of previous color issues from a different salon, we had to change the plan. The result was less brightness, but way better blending. Very happy!

The stylist was amazing, talented, and so sweet and my son’s hair came out great! The only reason I won’t bring him back is because with a $35 charge for a boys haircut plus $7 tip (20%), I find the grand total of $42 extremely overpriced for a haircut for an 11-year old boy!! We usually go to Yulee Barber and their current pricing for a boys haircut is $22.

Brittany has assistants aspiring to be future stylists who help out and shampoo. Emma provided me with one of the best shampoo services I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. As soon as you enter, you are greeted with a warm smile and the most heavenly scent. I love that Brittany supports small businesses and also give us back to the community. Earlier this year Bloom Salon hosted an event where they provided back-to-school haircuts for families in need. They also donated products and a gift card to be auctioned off in a raffle where the proceeds were donated to Dreams Come True of Jacksonville. Highly reccomend booking an appointment today, you won’t be disappointed!!
